Om Prakash Sharma

Om Prakash Sharma is a Lead AI/ML Engineer at acAIberry.io and a Computer Engineering researcher specializing in artificial intelligence, machine learning, network and cybersecurity, and emerging technologies. He is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Network and Cyber Security at the Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus, Nepal.

His professional and research work spans AI-driven education solutions, real-time AI inference, computer vision, Liquid Neural Networks, and earthquake early warning systems. He has contributed to Kathmandu Metropolitan City’s Smart City AI initiatives and serves as a Research Fellow with the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), researching liability allocation and intellectual property protection in on-orbit servicing, in-space assembly and manufacturing, and related space activities. He is also a Chapter Member of the InterPlanetary Networking Special Interest Group (IPNSIG), an Internet Society (ISOC) Chapter.

He is actively engaged in Internet governance, digital inclusion, and community technology initiatives, including contributions to APNIC working groups and Asia-Pacific Internet governance processes. He is a RIPE Atlas Ambassador and APRICOT 2025 Fellow.
