Biography
Carlo Gilardini is a Master’s student in Investigation, Crime and International Security at the University of International Studies of Rome (UNINT), where his research focuses on space security and the protection of critical space infrastructure. He previously completed an Erasmus exchange at EPOKA University in Tirana and an advanced training course in Space Institutions and Policies at the Italian Society for International Organization (SIOI). He is a Research Contributor at the Centro Studi Internazionali and a member of the Space Law and Policy Project Group of the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), where he is contributing to a co-authored paper on the compromise of space data. He has also worked as a junior analyst at the Institute for the Analysis of International Relations and as a research and editorial intern at the Institute for Defence Research and Analysis. His research interests include space security, international space law, European defence, and technological dependency.
